MUSE 2.0 is a two-day advanced course with 100% scanning time and an exceptional ratio of one instructor for two participants. The course can be tailored to achieving CPoCUS Independent Practitioner (IP) certification or improving skills in specific areas. For CPoCUS IP certification, this course offers scanning on female models to help acquire 50 scans towards certification. Ultrasound skills are broadened and strengthened through a modular, problem-based approach. This advanced course provides an excellent complement to the MUSE 1.0 introductory ultrasound course.
The course is great value for the number of CME credits earned (48 Mainpro+® credits from the College of Family Physicians of Canada).
Please note: Participants must have previously completed an introductory course in point of care ultrasound recognized by CPoCUS (8-hour minimum; MUSE 1.0 or other) in order to be able to acquire scans for CPoCUS Independent Practitioner certification.
100% refund if written cancellation received 6 weeks prior to the course (minus $100 administrative fee).
50% refund if written cancellation received between 4 to 6 weeks prior to the course.
0% refund if written cancellation received less than 4 weeks prior to the course.
