MUSE 2.0 is a two-day advanced course with 100% scanning time and an exceptional ratio of one instructor for two participants. The course can be tailored to achieving CPoCUS-Independent Practitioner (IP) certification or improving skills in specific areas. For CPoCUS-IP certification, this course offers scanning on female models to help acquire 50 scans towards certification. Ultrasound skills are broadened and strengthened through a modular, problem-based approach. This advanced course provides an excellent complement to the MUSE 1.0 introductory ultrasound course.
The course is good value for the number of CME credits earned (48 Mainpro+® credits from the College of Family Physicians of Canada).
Please note: Participants must have previously completed an introductory course in point of care ultrasound (8-hour minimum) recognized by CPoCUS in order to be able to acquire scans for CPoCUS-Independent Practitioner certification (e.g. MUSE 1.0 or other).
