MUSE BOOTCAMP is a hands-on point of care ultrasound course for clinicians seeking CPoCUS Independent Practitioner (IP) certification. This new, longitudinal IP certification course is for learners who prefer smaller groups and a more gradual learning process. It is a 30-hour course given over 10 weeks to no more than 6 participants! We continue to offer our exceptional ratio of one instructor for two participants.
Proof of introductory course or mandatory attendance on the first night is highly recommended.
Participants will have the opportunity to scan over 65 standardized patients in this course, ensuring improvement of skills to independent practitioner status. No prior experience in point of care ultrasound is required. This course is open to participants seeking full IP certification and to those who have already completed an introductory course.
The course is great value for the number of CME credits earned (48 Mainpro+® credits from the College of Family Physicians of Canada)
We encourage purchasing a 1 year membership to the Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Society which provides access to the CORE curriculum (85 pages of scanning techniques), instructional videos (32 videos), and the Maintenance of Competency (MOC) program (8 short quizzes).
Over 48 additional CME credits can be earned by reviewing the curriculum/videos and completing the MOC program.

Policies:
This course requires a minimum of 4 participants. MUSE ECHO Inc. reserves the right to cancel the course if this minimum is not met. Participants are required to attend all course nights, unless otherwise stated.
There is an administration fee of $150 if cancellation occurs within 6 weeks prior to the course. Please see cancellation policy below.
Cancellation policy for all courses:
100% refund if written cancellation received 6 weeks prior to the course (minus $150 administrative fee).
50% refund if written cancellation received between 4 to 6 weeks prior to the course (minus $150 administrative fee).
0% refund if written cancellation received less than 4 weeks prior to the course and after the start date.
